Free Group Ride
Newport Hills - Lake Sammamish Loop
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Note Start Location... we will be riding out of Newport Hills Park NOT the park and ride. There are bathrooms at the start!
Let's take a ride that takes us down the pastoral May Valley Road and around Lake Sammamish over to Redmond. We'll stop for coffee and a bite to eat at Whole Foods or Peet's Coffee (depending on our mood). After our break, we'll ride along East Lake Sammamish before climbing 164th (also known as Fisher Hill).
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. Note that this RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account. If you don't have one and/or don't want one, come to the ride anyway and just sign the waiver/attendee sheet. All are welcome.
If weather conditions meet the cancel criteria on the day of the ride, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior. Ice or snow also cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start to ready your bike and hear the safety briefing. If wet weather, please be courteous to other riders by having fenders on your bike (preferably extra long with a buddy/mud flap).

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
