Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Come join the TREATS ride as we cycle through forests and pastures of south King County. We will depart from the parking lot at Lake Wilderness Lodge promptly at 10:00 am. First, there is a short stretch along the Cedar to Green River Trail then we will ride through the Rock Creek Natural Area to Ravensdale Park for restrooms (mile 6). Next, we venture along the Ravensdale Retreat Natural Area down past the Kanasket-Palmer State Park. We pass through Cumberland (founded in 1893) to our second rest stop at Nolte State Park (mile 16) and a view of Deep Lake. Then out of the forest, we cross the Enumclaw plateau and descend into the Green River Valley. There is an optional rest stop at Flaming Geyser State Park if needed. We then climb for 1.5 miles up 218th Ave to Auburn-Black Diamond Rd and head into the Black Diamond Bakery for lunch. After lunch, it's mostly flat with some rollers for 6 miles back to Lake Wilderness.
Start: Arrive at the start by 9:40 am to hear the Route update and SMART talk. We plan to depart at 10:00 am sharp.
Restrooms: At the start in the Lake Wilderness Lodge, Ravensdale Park (mile 6), Nolte State Park (mile 16), optional Flaming Geyser State Park (mile 30) and the Lunch stop (mile 36).
