EARTHDREAM Rides Hills to Stay Warm
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
EAstside Ride The Hill DREAM rides are focused on helping strong riders get stronger by training on challenging hills. You can ride the hills at your own pace; we will regroup at the top. EARTHDREAM rides emphasize teamwork and cooperative riding in a way that is fun and encourages each rider to develop their cycling skills. Our pace tends to be consistent especially on hills where the climbs are fast and strong. Riders who struggle to maintain a vigorous pace may find it challenging to stay with the group. We will attempt to accommodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own if necessary.
This week's ride takes us mainly through Bellevue and Kirkland. The route includes numerous hills to allow us to generate enough body heat to stay warm. The starting location is at the South Kirkland Park and Ride. There is no water or restroom facilities at the start so please plan accordingly. We will plan one food/water stop at the Starbucks on Rose Hill in Kirkland.
I have made the start time later than usual to allow us to take advantage of the warmest part of the day.
If you click the "Register Now" button on this page it saves you from having to sign in at the start of the ride. Also, it gives me an idea of how many people to expect.
