LUMPs: Matthews Beach Seattle
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
LUMPs stands for Leisurely Urbane Matthewsbeach Pedalers. We will ride north on the Burke-Gilman Trail to Blyth Park near Bothell. Then take a break at Blyth Park for about 15 minutes, use the restrooms if needed and return to Matthew's Beach. Bring a snack if needed. The terrain is flat. The pace is steady at 12 to 14 mph. Snow, ice or rain cancels the ride. Helmets and a functioning bicycle are required. Lights, front and back, are required and always a good idea for evening rides. No cue sheets provided. Free parking at Matthew's Beach Parking lot. Arrive early to beat the sea gulls for a good parking spot.
Note: Preregistration is not required to do the ride, but if you can, please do so. Just click on the red "Register Now" button at the top of this page. Then click in the waiver release box, fill in the emergency contact information, and click on Save. If you can't make the ride you do not have to unregister
