This is a social and recreational ride to Starbucks at the south end of Lake Union. We will use the Burke Gilman Trail to the Fremont Bridge and then the West Lake Union Trail to Starbucks on the lake. The return route will take us under the Fremont Bridge and the Ballard Bridge on the Ship Canal Trail to the Fisherman's Terminal. After a gradual climb we will walk our bikes across the Ballard Locks and return to the start via the Burke Gillman Trail. Free parking is available on both sides of Seaview Ave NW at the starting point which is located about one mile west of the Ballard Locks.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
