This ride is a ONE-WAY route from downtown Seattle to Hellbent Brewing Company in Lake City neighborhood. They are having an End of Summer Backyard Burger Bonanza on this day at 3pm. It's conveniently located by a bus stop that services #41 and #522 to come back to the start, so you can decide how long you want to stay to get a fill of their brews. Hellbent is 21+ yo establishment, so unfortunately, minors aren't allowed to enter.
Let's meet at McGraw Square at 1:45pm the latest. We will have an introduction and safety briefing. By the time you get to the start, you will need to have a bike (your own or rental). ***YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A HELMET TO JOIN THIS RIDE***
Once we get out of downtown, we will ride on bike trails/lanes and bicyclist-friendly roads with less traffic.
There is no restroom at the start.
Weather notice: In case of inclement weather, the ride leader will post a cancellation notice in the comments section below 2 hours prior to the ride, and Ride Leaders will not be at the ride start.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
