MUMPS: Woodinville-Lake Sammamish (Brisk Pace)
Event has already happened.
Note the new MUMPS starting point, Woodinville Sports Fields. Restrooms are available across the street at Wilmot Gateway Park. Riders should be at the start at least 10 minutes early for safety/route talk, for a prompt 10am rollout.
This is a mostly flat 38-miler for a hot day, departing from my usual moderate pace and bumping it up to brisk (16-18mph) this week. We will head south on the SRT and Willows Road, through Redmond and around Lake Sammamish. On the return we'll cross Marymoor Park, detour into Redmond Town Center for a lunch stop at Starbucks, and head back to Woodinville on roads and the trail.
The route/cue sheet is at the link below. Please download or print it if you want it during the ride.
We will regroup as necessary, but it would be a good idea to have my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.
Please bring plenty of water and sunscreen, and be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride.
Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.
In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start.
