Tacoma Rides Around the Sound and the Harbor #18 - Point Defiance Hot Laps

It's Thursday in Tacoma and that means that the "Tacoma Rides Around the Sound and the Harbor" series is back. Every Thursday night from March 16th to November 2nd, 2017, come on out and enjoy 90 - 120 minutes of challenging terrain. We will predominently depart from either the Tacoma War Memorial, or the Dolce Si Coffee Shop (or one of the many coffee shops that Tacoma has to offer), but occasionally, we'll throw in a ride from Powderworks Park in Dupont, WA, to the Trail in Orting, WA, to the 7 Seas Brewery in Gig Harbor, WA. We will definitely try to keep it interesting and fluid. Starting September 7th, 2017, and running until November 2nd, 2017, the T.R.A.S.H. Series will manifest itself as a weekly Hot Laps Session (5 Laps Minimum) at Point Defiance Park. With the sun setting earlier and earlier, this is the best way to get our session in, while still being mindful of how much light we have. We will regroup at the completion of every lap, but these are Hot Laps...so they will be an opportunity for you to put that summer training to good use, and lay the hammer down, as we lap Point Defiance with very little traffic and plenty of road. If you want to get even more laps in, please feel free to swing by early...but the group will officially start at 6:00 PM. There are plenty of bathrooms at Point Defiance, as well as water sources. Parking should be plentiful. We will meet up at the entrance to the park, by the information board. Lights, both front and back are mandatory, as the sun is setting earlier and earlier every week.
