The Blue Angels are back!!!
Starting at the Newport Park and Ride (exit 9 on I-405) we will ride over the East Channel bridge and do a lap of Mercer Island before arriving at a prime (and downright amazing) rooftop deck viewing area at mile 19.
We will relax, have lunch on the deck and watch a great show. Coffee and cold water will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
After the show, we will return to the starting point, either by retracing our route around the island or by a more direct and shorter route, depending on the desire of our group.
Fair warning: This ride is more about the Blue Angels than the cycling.
Comments: Please be prepared; there is no restroom at the start. We may stop for an optional restroom break at mile 0.3 if necessary.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
