Free Group Ride
Birthday loop around Lake Washington
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
It's my birthday and what better way to celebrate than on two wheels and burning off calories so I can make room for cake.
We will start the ride out of Log Boom park. We'll head South through Kirkland, Bellevue, meander around the South Mercer Island loop, North through the Botanical Gardens, UW, Burke Gilman back to the start.
Riders should be able to sustain the advertised pace, read a cue sheet, change a flat (and have the requisite equipment) and have a positive attitude! Faster riders and better climbers are welcome to join but for them the ride becomes self-paced and self-guided. Riders can ride on their own, in small groups, or with the ride leader. If you need a cue sheet please print your own just in case as none will be provided at the ride start.
Rest stops: We will make a short diversion to Aubrey Davis Park for a restroom/water break. As there is no planned food stop please bring enough food/gels to sustain yourself for the duration of the ride.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above. This will save us time at the start. Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club Account, which is easy to setup, but if you don't want one of those then just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance and hold harmless sheet.
