Event has already happened.
A mid-week, hilly ride departing from Cascade headquarters in Magnuson Park heading toward Discovery Park in Magnolia for great views of Puget Sound and downtown. Coming back with we'll take the Thomas St. bridge through Lower Queen Anne to the Westlake Cycle Track. There will be a coffee stop in Magnolia.
Moderate pace with regroups on hills. New riders please read the information on the Cascade Free Group Rides page. Bring water, a snack, and all necessary tools & tubes in case they are needed. Online preregistration is appreciated. A link to the map and cue on RideswithGPS will be posted.
Feel free to stop in at Cascade headquarters before or after the ride for coffee, tea, or a cold drink. If a ride is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted here in the comment section by 8:00 a.m. and ride leaders will not be waiting at the start.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
