Puyallup to Swan Creek

Join for a ride from Heritage Rec Center, across Summit, then Midland & Fern Hill to Swan Creek Park (see link below) for a mid point stop.  We will pass by some interesting churches along the way with a view of the Olympics (on a clear day) before we return across Summit, make a fast descent down 72nd (STP "Hill") and climb back via Fruitland to the start.     

Please register for the ride using the red "Register Now" button at the top of this page.  Registration is not mandatory but it allows us to print the rider list beforehand and helps us save time at the ride start.  On-line registration closes the night before, and if you decide to ride after that we will have a waiver sheet for you to sign manually.   

If you are a new rider, we are very happy to have you with us.  Please read the newcomer link at the top of the page, and keep in mind that a helmet is required on all Cascade rides.  Also, riders should be able to sustain the pace, carry nutrition/water, and have the know-how and equipment to fix a flat tire.  Everyone should carry a phone to call for assistance if needed. We will regroup after climbs and at major intersections. 

Arrive at least 20 minutes early so that you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This allows us to have an on-time departure.

Be considerate and have full fenders if roads are wet or a prediction of rain is in the forecast.

Cancellation Policy: If needed, a weather cancellation will be posted two hours prior in the Comments section, below, and the ride leader will not be at the start. Heavy showers or high winds will cancel.  Please check here before leaving for the ride.
