Puyallup-Fairfax Bridge-Carbon River

This ride will start at the East Puyallup Foothills Trail Head. We will follow the Foothills Trail through Orting and into South Prairie. We will get some hills in as we ride as we ride through Burnett and into Wilkeson. After a short stop we will continue up a climb to Carbonado, through Fairfax, past the Ranger Station until the road ends which will be our turn around point. Many stunning views along this route as well as great scenery.

Have extra tubes and tire pump and a fun attitude.

Please be courteous to your fellow riders and arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start to prepare your bike, listen to the ride briefing and allow us to leave on time.

Cancellations: In the event of a weather cancellation, a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride and the ride leader will not be at the ride start location.

Restrooms: Available at the start, in Orting, South Prairie, Wilkeson and the Ranger Station.

This will be an enjoyable ride along the Foothills Trail as we slowly gain elevation. Once we leave South Prairie there will be some climbs along Lower Burnett Rd into Burnett and then a climb coming out of Wilkeson heading into Carbonado. The remainder of the out route will gradually climb similar to the Foothills Trail. Once we turn back it is almost all down hill and/or flat. We will regroup frequently after climbs.
