Free Group Ride
Friday Riders -- Centennial Trail and Environs
Event has already happened.
An easy ride, mostly along the Centennial Trail. We'll explore a bit of the area to the east of the trail, then reconnect with it and follow it all the way to Lake Cassidy. Coming back, we'll head over toward Lake Stevens before rejoining the trail at the Machias rest area. On our return to Snohomish, we'll stop at the Trails End Taphouse for lunch and a beverage.
Bring money for lunch, water and snacks, and a spare tube and tools for flat fixing. Come early for the safety briefing -- we'll try to leave promptly at 10am.
If it's raining heavily or extremely windy that day, I'll post a cancellation notice here by 8:00 am. If it looks like light rain or intermittant rain showers, I'll be at the ride start and will consult the Dark Sky app to make my decision about riding or not. Feel free to call me at 425-238-4045 for updates that morning.
Pre-registering online: If you have a Cascade account, you can pre-register for this ride online by clicking on the Register button at the top of this page and entering your information. Pre-registering saves time at the beginning the ride and provides legible emergency contact information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to un-register.
Directions: From Hwy 9 Northbound, take the ramp toward Snohomish. Turn right onto 1st St. We'll meet in front of the Snohomish public restroom at 1st St. and Avenue B., but please don't park right in the downtown area. There is a designated parking area west of downtown at around 1st and Ave. E.
