SHE BIKES - Seattle Cycle Sirens - CycloFemme Lake Sammamish Loop (Leisurely)

CycloFemme is a socially-driven grass-roots celebration of women on bikes. Join the Seattle Cycle Sirens for the annual CycloFemme Mother's Day ride which unites riders, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or bicycle preference to share the joy of cycling! This ride around Lake Sammamish is 22 miles on mostly flat terrain. We will start at Pickering Farm and go around the lake counterclockwise.

The Ride Leader will be leading a Leisurely paced ride (10-12 mph on the flats with no headwinds or tailwinds). Those who wish to ride at a faster pace are welcome to do so, but it will then become a self-paced ride for them. Slower riders are also welcome to take the route at their own pace as this is a NO-DROP ride and we will regroup as needed along the way. This ride is about 22 miles long on mostly flat terrain.

The ride will begin at 9:00 a.m., so please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ready your bike, sign the waiver and participate in the SMART safety briefing.

Riders are expected to have the following with them: Water, red blinking tail light, a spare tube, a pump and other tools to change a flat tire.  Please remember that it's important to check your tire pressure regularly during the summer (e.g., weekly during the cycling season).

You may pre-sign the waiver online by clicking on the "Register" button above, under the ride title, checking the Waiver Signature box, and saving registration. Registering requires a Cascade account and you must be signed in to Register.
