Skyway and Beacon Hill Climb
Event has already happened.
Join me for some great views of Seattle and the surrounding areas. The catch is there are some steep but relatively short climbs. We start by climbing from Rainier Beach to Skyway, After two more short climbs, we climb Beacon Hill on the Chief Sealth Trail for some great views of Lake Washington, Seattle, and Elliot Bay. We are then rewarded for our efforts with a long downhill on Cheasty Blvd. and a flat section on Lake Washington Blvd. But our climbing is not done. Then we'll climb the upper loop at Seward Park before climbing Juneau Street and Wilson Ave S. before returning to Rainier Beach.
Please bring a spare tube and the tools necessary in case of flats. Arrive 15 minutes before the start to prepare you bike and hear the safety briefing, Water and restrooms are available at the start.
