Sumner to Spanaway Lake

Join us for a ride from Summer to the hidden gem of Spanaway Lake!  We'll be leaving Sumner and head through downtown Puyallup and ascend up Fruitland Ave to the Summit area and continue west to Spanaway Lake. If the weather is not too overcast, we may catch sight of the C-17 Globemasters as they practice takeoffs and landings at McChord Field. There is one long sustained climb between miles 6-8 that briefly reaches 7.5%, then rollers afterwards. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to have enough time to prepare your bike and hear the SMART talk.

Please print cue sheets (none available at start), bring water, snacks and all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc.  Fenders highly recommended during the rainy seasons and when there is a chance of rain in the forecast, otherwise you will be asked to ride in the back.

Preregistration is available and saves you time at the start by not having to fill out the waiver form. Sign in with your cascade user account, click on the register button (below ride title after you sign in) and fill out the information.
