Event has already happened.
The end of 2015 is approaching, time for the Last Lark To Madison Park. We will take a short fairly flat ride out to Madison Park and stop at either Madison Park Bakery or Starbucks, returning for the C&C portion of the ride. This is a thank you to all the wonderful people who have shared time in the saddle on my rides in 2015.
Please arrive early enough to ready your bike and to attend the Most Interesting Safety Briefing in the World.
**Pace of this ride is flat road with no wind, if there is a head wind or we are on a hill pace will be slower and if we are going downhill or there is a tailwind pace may be faster. Please take this into consideration when deciding to participate in this ride.
• Terrain: Fairly flat some hills nothing serious
• Regroup Policy: Stay together we’ll all get there pretty much at the same time
• Rain Cancellation: Steady rain cancels, this is Seattle I will usually ride. In the event of damp weather use of fenders/mud flaps is greatly appreciated by those behind you.
• Additional: Mentoring available for prospective Ride Leaders with advance notice.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
