Event has already happened.
The MEETS series is over, but the fun rides on! Join us for R.O.A.D. (Ride from Overlake transit center After Dark) rides out of our new location - Overlake Transit Center. We will meet in the parking lot closest to NE 40th St. Our routes incorporate local hills, approx 20-25 miles, and 1500 feet of elevation. Please download the route to your navigation device of choice or print a cue sheet. No cue sheets will be available at the start.
This is a holiday ride. Extra holiday lights on your bike are encouraged. Please keep safety in mind when lighting your bike!
Riders should be able to sustain the appropriate pace for their selected group, or ride independently. Please come with the skills and equipment to change a flat; the group does not stop for mechanical issues. Print contact information clearly on the waiver so that we can reach you in case you become separated. You may also register for the ride online, by clicking on the "Register" button under the ride title, checking the Waiver Signature box, and saving registration. Registering requires a Cascade account.
Please RSVP on meetup.com. It’s not required, but MUCH appreciated. There are no rest stops during the ride, or restrooms/water at the start. Please plan ahead.
THIS IS AN AFTER DARK RIDE! A GOOD HEADLIGHT AND TAILLIGHT REQUIRED!
Rain showers cancel.
FOR WET CONDITIONS, FENDERS REQUIRED. Please come with long fenders including a buddy flap if the roads are wet. Without them, you will be asked to ride in the back of the group.
Full route details will be posted in the comments below.
