Event has already happened.
This will be a mountain bike ride following the route used for the Stinky Spoke Poker Ride held every January. Come out and see if you are ready for Heart Attack Hill, a short but steep gut buster with grades of 18-20%.
We'll start at the Northshore Athletic Fields which is the baseball park just east of the Redhook Brewery. Heart Attack Hill is the first obsticle, just a half mile into the ride and from there we'll follow the Tolt Pipeline Trail east to the Redmond Watershed near Triology. We'll then head back west on the Power Line trail to the Samammish Trail, then back to the start. Coffee after the ride at The Commons.
We will generally ride at a moderate pace effort but will regroup at top of all hills and major turns to make sure no one gets lost.
Steady rain cancels, but if it's a little wet and muddy, more the fun.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
