Auburn Black Diamond Weekend Winter Ride

Join me this Sunday for a 30 mile ride from Auburn to the popular Black Diamond Bakery.  We’ll start our ride from the Regal Cinema 17 parking lot located in the Outlet Collection Mall and pedal our way through Auburn to Black Diamond, stopping for a quick break at the bakery before returning  (meet at the north end of the theater parking lot between Walmart and the theater).

Please arrive early, at least 15 minutes before the posted start time to sign the waiver and be part of the S.M.A.R.T. safety briefing.  Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. I will regroup occasionally.  All riders should be able to fix a flat and deal with any mechanical issue. Please print a cue sheet for yourself.  Also, fenders are recommended when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast.  Steady rain or unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is cancelled, I will post a cancellation announcement 2 hours before the ride start time in the comment section below.  If I cancel the ride I will not be at the start. 

There is one long steady climb, about 4.5 miles long, a few little rollers and some wonderful flat sections.  On the climb riders may ascend the hill at their own pace.  We will wait at the top where we will regroup before moving on.
