Join us for a jewel of a fall ride, 47 miles at a fast brisk pace. Starting from the lower Woodland Park parking lot, we'll head south through Fremont to the Seattle waterfront, then on to Alki Beach. Further south we ride to White Center then east to Renton and return north skirting Lake Washington. We'll celebrate success in imperial style at Mighty-O donuts in Tangletown near the finish. Our goal will be to stay together so we can egg each other on, regrouping as necessary at the top of the bigger climbs. Meet at 0920 for route review and safety brief, then we roll promptly at 0930. Ride SMART, which means no rushin' through lights or stop signs. It's fall, so don't cause a revolution: fenders please! And the Rides Czar says 15mph on short sections of multi-use paths along the route.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
