Fall Cycling rolls on! All new route! Join me for an energizing start to your weekend! A short quick ride in the crisp fall air... We will roll out of Celebration Park in Federal Way, head north through scenic Redondo, pedal rolling hills to Southcenter, climb west across Tukwila, and ride into Normandy Park, ride along the water from Normandy Park, through Des Moines, grab gears on Dash Point Road, and back to Celebration Park! If you are new rider to Cascade Free Group Rides, we welcome you! Please click on the link and read important information for Cascade Bicycle newcomers http://www.cascade.org/welcome-newcomers Restrooms at start. Please arrive early enough to sign the ride waiver, hear the route details, and review Cascade riding S.M.A.R.T. We will start promptly at 9:00 am. The pace is Brisk 16-18 mph on flat roads with no headwinds. Please print cue sheets and bring all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc. Bring adequate food and water as there may be limited opportunities to purchase along the way. Planned stop(s): 4.8 mi. Quick restroom stop at Redondo 20.8 mi. Lunch Stop Starbucks and QFC Normandy Park 29.6 m. Optional restroom stop off 272nd St. Kent- Starbucks, Jack in Box We regroup at top of hills. If roads are wet fenders are necessary. Long fenders are absolutely required unless it is bone dry out, and zero percent chance of rain forecast. Look forward to seeing you! - Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
