Event has already happened.
As the title indicates, this route is a mix of urban and rural, touching Lake Washington, Woodinville and the Maltby, Snohomish and Silver Lake areas. It is also a mix of flats and climbs. You may need a bit of your inner Mighty Mouse late in the ride as we climb out of the Snohomish Valley on the ever-popular 56th Avenue SE/116th/117th hill combo on our way to Silver Lake.
After a short stop at Log Boom Park for restrooms and water, as needed, this ride is intended to be ridden non-stop, so bring a snack if you need it and can eat it on the fly.
Please park in the outside row of the school parking lot, which has access from Oak Road. DO NOT PARK in the loading circle at the front of the school along 18th Avenue W. No water or restrooms at the start and the first chance for either is 8.5 miles away at Log Boom Park, so come prepared. Plan to be there and ready for the safety talk and route discussion at 8:45 a.m. We will leave at 9 a.m. and should be finished by noon, barring major complications.
Riders should be able to deal with a flat or other mechanical on their own.
Please, print a copy of the cue sheet in case you need one. I will have a couple of extras with me, but not many.
