Event has already happened.
Family friendly ride from Jack Block Park to Delridge Playground and Community Center and on to the Delridge Library, then back to Jack Block. We will stop to see and enjoy public art, rain gardens, the library, and parks with playgrounds, a skatepark, a creek, a giant dragonfly pavillion, and public potties. For all ages and abilities. Easy pace, mostly on mixed use trails, greenway and other quiet streets, and mostly flat. Two big intersections to cross as a group. The route takes the Alki Trail, the West Seattle Bridge Trail, sidewalk path on Delridge, quiet streets including the 26th Ave SW Greenway, and a bit of gravel path on Longfellow Creek.
Parents please see and conform to http://www.cascade.org/information-parents. Contact ride leader in advance for notice and permissions, and will any questions about the route and capabilities of your child.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
