The weather is supposed to be good and this is one of the most beautiful rides in the area! We'll have views of fields, animals, and Mount Baker. We'll start from the the parking lot off S. Machias just south of Highway 2 where there is a pota-potty. We'll ride on the Centennial Trail to the end of the trail where we'll have lunch at the Nakashima Heritage Red Barn before heading back to Snohomish. Please bring something to eat and drink as there is no place to purchase food at the Red Barn.
- Pace: Moderate (14 - 16 mph)
- Terrain: mainly flat with one steady, very gradual (max 2.8% grade) climb on the way back - great scenery - 277 ft
- Regroup: Stay together
- Cancellation Notice: Showers - A message will be posted by 7 am if the ride is cancelled. Ride leader will not be at the ride start if the ride is cancelled.
Please arrive by 8:45 am to prepare yourself, your bike, and sign the waiver.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
