Free Group Ride
Queen Anne & Ballard Locks
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a 19 mile ride as we tour Queen Anne, Myrtle Edwards Park, the Ballard Locks, Sunset Park, and Phinney Ridge. Along the way, we will tackle a few steep hills but will re-group at the top of the climbs. I am planning to lead rides for many Monday's throughout the summer and into early autumn. The rides will start in Gasworks mostly, but some may take place on the Eastside. This first ride is not overly hard on the hills, gaining about 1300' in elevation. As the rides progress, we will take on steeper hills and increase the total elevation on the rides. We will also try to have a lot of fun and see a lot of scenic spots along the way.
I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the Contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
