Free Group Ride
FRUMPS -- Marymoor, Carnation, Redmond Ridge
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a social ride with an emphasis on lower-traffic roads and with a few adventurous route diversions to make it more interesting.
We’ll climb up to Beaver Lake Park for a restroom break, then enjoy a long, fast descent to the most scenic part of the Snoqualmie Valley. After lunch in Carnation we’ll return via Union Hill and Redmond Ridge. This is a fairly hilly route but we will regroup at the tops of hills if necessary.
See the RWGPS route info below. Please print a cue sheet (or load your GPS) in case you get separated and/or can’t keep up with the group.
We’ll meet at the parking lot* at the northeast corner of Marymoor Park. The nearest intersection is NE 65th St. and 176th Ave. NE. There is a portable toilet at the start. Please arrive at the start early enough to hear the SMART talk and depart at 10:00.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: Starting April 1 there will be a $1.00 per day parking fee in the Marymoor East parking lot. There is a parking payment machine, requiring $1.00 in cash, in the "RC" (radio-controlled airplane) parking lot approximately 500' inside Marymoor Park. Place the receipt face up on your dashboard so it is clearly visible.
