Social, hilly and beautiful rural route from Renton to Maple Valley and Ravensdale outbound on Jones Rd and 196th. There are some challinging hills. Most of the elevation on this ride is on 196th at mile 7 and in the middle third of the ride. There are rest rooms at the community center. Rest room stops at mile 17 with sanican (Lake Francis park), one at mile 25 with restrooms and water (Ravensdale Park) and then coffee and food stop with Starbucks, QFC at mile 32 (Lake Wilderness shopping center). Bring full water bottles as the first water stop is at mile 25. Please arrive and have you and your bike ready to hear briefing at 9:50 so we can roll promptly at 10. Rain during the ride may amend the route. In event of inclement weather the ride leader may not be at the start but will post a cancellation notice in the comments section of this posting by 8:00 on the morning of the ride. BABES is Beautiful area biking essentially south (or east side).

- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
