Ride for Swedish Pancakes and The Seattle Bike Show

Please note the pancake breakfast costs $9 and the Bike Show is $10. I believe both take plastic as payment but I would recommend having some cash on hand for the breakfast at least. 

We meet at Gas Works Park around 8:15 AM for a pre-ride briefing and waiver signing so that we're ready to ride by 8:30. I can be found at the east end of the parking lot at the wide pedestrian access area into the park. We'll start with a short ride up the Dexter incline to the Swedish Club as a warm up for their monthly pancake breakfast. I will allow approximately an hour for breakfast. After that we ride on to the Seattle Bike Show. Those that want to skip the breakfast for a later start can bike to the Swedish club around 9:30. I will have the ride waiver available for signing before we depart from the Swedish Club. Riders that want to ride slower or faster than the advertised pace are welcome to join but will be self guided. Please print a map or cue sheet from the link provided if you think you will need it. For the group sticking together on the same pace, we will regroup as needed when broken up by traffic lights through the waterfront. Please come prepared with knowledge and equipment to fix your own flats. 

The ride is one way, please be sure you are familiar enough with Seattle geography and bike routes to get back to origin. Biking to the start is encouraged. Motor vehicle parking at the park is posted as a 4 hour limit. If you drive your car to the start, please consider parking nearby in the neighborhood and biking down to the park. 

Heavy rain will cancel the ride.
