Thursday Tours Day
A moderately paced moderate tour of South Snohomish County from the city of Snohomish to the Arlington Airport.
Most of the route is flat and the hills are low-grade (max. 5.5%) but a couple of miles long (see elevation profile on the map link below).
We will go on very rural roads to Ebey Island, a little traffic to get to the back road to Marysville, some suburban streets and the Centennial Trail with a cut off for an easy jaunt along East Lake Stevens.
Lunch is at Smokey Point, mile 30, so snacks are suggested.
No restooms at the start, but they're 1/2 mile into the ride in town.
Note that the start is from the Centennial Trail parking lot at the junction of Second Street and Lincoln Ave in Snohomish, not along the trail where many rides used to meet.
If the stated weather conditions, or there is ice or snow, which will also cancel the ride, the leader may not show up at the start. Please check back here on the morning of the ride after 8 am or call 425.273.4156 at that time.
