Soaring Eagle & Duthie Hill Mountain Biking
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Mountain Biking. Soaring Eagle Park is 1 square mile of twisty, intersecting trails that all look alike. Fortunately for the directionally-challenged, there are maps posted at almost every intersection, so it's hard to get lost for very long. The trails are twisty, rooty and bumpy, but not overly difficult. The combination of size and technical difficulty make it a great place for both new and experienced mountain bikers to work on their singletrack skills. Can be quite muddy and technical in the wet months.http://your.kingcounty.gov/ftp/gis/Web/VMC/recreation/BCT_SoaringEagle_brochure.pdf
We will ride trails to Duthie Hill Park and take a few spins on the trails. https://www.evergreenmtb.org/trails/duthie-hill. 15-20 miles estimated. The main entry to Soaring Eagle Park is on the west side of the park in Sammamish via 228th Avenue SE and SE 8th Street to the end of East Main Drive where there is a paved parking lot. The address is 26015 East Main Drive. Be warned that this ride is an adventure and the pace is slow but NOT "leisurely".
