SLOW Ride with Senior Ladies On Wheels
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Senior Ladies On Wheels welcome all riders of all ages, as long as you ride S.L.O.W.! Our pleasant, sociable rides start at 11 am at the Northwest African American Museum on the last Saturday of every month. Rides are between 5 and 15 miles, following quiet, low-traffic streets, protected bike lanes, neighborhood Greenways and trails. We usually stop for lunch along the way. We stay together, no rain cancellation (although if it's really pouring we may choose a shorter ride!). There are a few gradual climbs on most rides, but there's no shame in getting off and walking a stretch. The slowest rider sets the pace - don't worry, we won't hurry! Details of the January ride will be posted in the Comments.
