Event has already happened.
We will be working up an appetite as we Pedal for Pumpkin Pie. Leaving from the Sumner Fred Meyer parking lot (east end next to Garden Center), we will do some flat miles to get the legs warm and then do some climbing up the 410 to Bonney Lake.From there we do some rollers and one more big climb. If the weather is decent we'll have some nice views of Mt Rainer and Tacoma. Mentoring is available with notice. Pace is Moderate (14 - 16 mph) Regroups as needed at top of hills. Please respect all riders and arrive early enough to prepare your bike, listen to the SMART talk and roll out. Please print your own cue sheet if desired. In the event of wet weather, long fenders will be appreciated by the rider behind you. Restrooms at start. RSVP not required but is encouraged on Cascade Meetup.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
