If you have the day off, join us to celebrate Veterans Day with this 66 mile Brisk ride from Magnuson Park to Everett and return. Meet at parking lot W6 for a pre-ride safety briefing just before 9 am and then underway on the hour. Only steady rain in the AIR will FORCE a ride cancellation. Our route takes us through Innis Arden with GUARDed COAST views, then onward northward via Edmonds. Depending on the weather conditions, we'll make a decision at the 26 mile point to shorten the route to 46 miles, or SOLDIER on for the full 66. Stopping in Everett for a cup of Joe and a ration of biscuit at Petite Sweet, we will continue our route via MARINE view Drive past the NAVY station. Maybe we'll get a glimpse of a warship at the wharf? Completing our route will take us via Martha Lake down to Log Boom Park and then return on the Burke Gilman Trail (15mph limit).
Please come prepared with full fenders. We'll regroup as needed and help out if someone flats.
