As daylight retreats in increments we reflect on what has passed,
The season of Cascade Bike Events, If only it would last.
We can escape with loves intent, to all joy will be cast,
Your ride asks for aknowledgement for freedom lent it hast!
Get on your bike the instrument, our future is forecast,
The wheel our pen, the road parchment, we write the travels vast!
We leave the Seattle waterfront and take Marginal Way, which ultimately becomes the West Valley Road, into Sumner. The Sumner trail and River Road bring us into Tacoma where we take the Commencement Bay road to Ruston. Climbing starts here to cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge! Side roads will deliver us to Gig Harbor for lunch at IL Lucano Italian restaurant. Cresent Valley takes us through Olalla, with glimpses of Vashon Island and Seattle across Colvos Passage. The fabulous Beach Drive puts the icing on the journeys cake to end up in Port Orchard. The delightful foot ferry shuttles us to Bremerton for espresso at Frashe Cup before the free ferry trip back to Seattle!

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
