Everett Farmer's Market and a Chicken Run
Event has already happened.
We'll ride (mostly on the Interurban Trail) to the Friday Everett Farmer's Market, getting there shortly after it opens at 3pm. This market is pretty small, so don't expect a large and lavish set of choices, but there are usually several produce vendors, as well as cheese, honey, and handcrafts. After shopping for fruit and veggies, and maybe enjoying a baked item, we'll head back, making a stop at Heaven Sent Chicken to get chicken-to-go to take to our homes for dinner. Your bike should have panniers or a basket to carry your purchases, and bring cash to spend at the market -- not all vendors take charge cards, but the chicken place does.
DIRECTIONS TO START: From I-5 just north of Lynnwood, take the 164th St. SW exit and turn onto 164th heading east towards Mill Creek. Turn left (north) at the 2nd traffic light after the freeway, at Meadow Road. Turn right at 146th St SW, and the park will be on your right just past 4th Ave. W.
