International Day of Friendship Ride
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
“On this international day of friendship, let us cultivate warm ties that strengthen our common humanity and promote the well-being of the human family” – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
So, let’s go for a ride! You are highly encouraged to bring a friend and wear the colors that represent your country and/or your culture! A special (free) momento will be available for the first many riders. It reflects the desire to promote friendships between people and cultures through cycling.
Starting at the Bear Creek Park & Ride in Redmond, we will head north into rural Snohomish County and stop at Bob's Corn and Pumpkin farm at MP 16.1. Then head south, through Woodinville and hopefully have spent enough calories to enjoy the French Bakery at MP 28.8. We pick up the Sammamish River trail for a bit and then head east through neighborhoods and horse loving country. Finally we ride back to the Park & Ride via Union Hill Rd. This route has plenty of options available to cut it short if needed.
