Free Group Ride
Maltby Snoqualmie Valley
Event has already happened.
A "ride in 3 acts", this route starts us out with several miles of rollers and a climb before dropping us down to the Snoqualmie River Valley. The middle section will treat us to great views of the valley and surrounding hills. We earn our enjoyment of the valley in the final 1/3 of the ride with a notable climb followed by several more miles of generally uphill rollers on our way back to the park.
We will ride in anything but heavy rain. Although not a formal training ride, the focus will be on safe cooperative riding with a goal of maintaining the advertised pace. You should be able to read a cue sheet and change a flat (and have the requisite equipment). If you would like a cue sheet, please print your own from the ride link.
There is no pre-planned rest stop as this is a short ride so bring a snack to munch during any brief roadside break that we might want to take.
There are restrooms available at the start.
Although this is an afternoon ride, for safety you are highly encouraged to have a working taillight. Please have fenders if the weather looks sketchy or the roads are wet.
