MEETS Bellevue (Daylight)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Midweek Eastside Evening Training Series. The MEETS rides are held Wednesday evenings at 6 pm. These training rides incorporate local hills and range between 20-25 miles and from ~1200 to 2000 feet of elevation. Moderate pace (14-16 mph on flats).
Posting a 22 mile ride at moderate pace, anticipating ride competion before dark. Nontheless a good headlight and tail light is required for the ride. Fenders are optional, though highly encouraged.
Riders should be able to sustain the pace, read a cue sheet, change a flat (and have the requisite equipment), and have a positive attitude! Faster riders and better climbers are welcome to join but for them the ride becomes self-paced and self-guided. Riders can ride on their own, in small groups, or with the appropriate pace ride leader. Please print your own cue sheet from http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2345434
Rest stops: There are no planned rest stops as these are short rides. There is NO restroom at the park and ride where the ride starts, so please plan accordingly.
Start location is South Bellevue Park and Ride, parking lot closest to the trailhead.
Please go to the Meetup link for this ride for additional information, including ride updates, route link, cue sheet, and RSVPs. RSVP is not required, but would be MUCH appreciated.
