Event has already happened.
We begin our ride at Ron Regis Park in Renton and will ride to Black Diamond bakery where we'll stop for coffee and pastries. We will return the way we came retracing our course back to Renton.
Meet at the parking lot early enough to sign the ride waiver, hear the route details, and review the SMART riding. We ride promptly at 10:00 AM.
Riders should come prepared with all necessary equipment to fix a flat and ride safely.
So please dress appropriately for the weather. Layers, booties, head wear. And please fenders on your bike in wet weather.
DIRECTIONS TO START: from I-405 South take Exit 4 (Renton/Enumclaw); go east on Maple Valley Hwy past the Maplewood Golf Course; turn left (north) on 149th Ave SE/Orcas Ave; the entrance to park is on left (Orcas Ave). From I-405 North: take Exit 4A (Maple Valley/Enumclaw); go east on Maple Valley Hwy past the Maplewood Golf Course; turn left (north) on 149th Ave SE/Orcas Ave; the entrance to park is on left (Orcas Ave). Warning! The park is misnamed in Yahoo.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
