MEETS - Marymoor, Thursday Edition (Moderate)
Event has already happened.
Midweek Eastside Evening Training Series – The MEETS rides will be held Thursday evenings at 5:45 pm each week. These will be after dark training routes that incorporate local hills, and are between 20-25 miles with ~ 1000 to 1700 feet of elevation. There will be a single pace offered through the winter – Moderate (14-16 mph on flats).
***PLEASE NOTE THAT A GOOD HEAD AND TAIL LIGHT ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS RIDE. IF IT IS RAINING, FENDERS ARE APPRECIATED BY YOUR FELLOW RIDERS. Riders should be able to sustain the appropriate pace, read a cue sheet, change a flat (and have the requisite equipment), and have a positive attitude! Faster riders and better climbers are welcome to join but for them the ride becomes self-paced and self-guided.
Steady rain, ice or snow will cancel this ride.
Draft route for this week is: TBD
Ride leaders are: Kimberly Smith and Sandi Navarro
