Climbing Hills Around the South End - Each Friday night CHASE rides explore local neighborhoods and hills around the South end of Seattle, Tukwila, Burien, Normandy Park, Des Moines areas. The routes range from 20-25 miles and from ~ 2000-2500 feet of elevation.
We will meet at the North Overflow Lot (Lot G) of the Tukwila Link Light Rail Station (TLRS). The North overflow lot is located across Southcenter Blvd from the main terminal. Please arrive with enough time to ready your gear, sign the ride waiver, and listen to the pre ride safety briefing.
Riders should be able to sustain the appropriate pace, read a cue sheet, change a flat, handle minor mechanical issues (and have the requisite equipment), and have a positive attitude!
A good headlight and tail light is required for the ride. Fenders are optional, though highly encouraged. There are no planned rest stops as these are short rides and there are no restrooms at the start, so please plan accordingly.
