Start Line Hours

Saturday, July 12, 2008
One-day riders only: 4:45 a.m. to 5:15 a.m.
All riders: 5:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
We will be sending riders off in 10-minute waves.

University of Washington

The start line will once again be at the University of Washington E-1 Parking Lot on Montlake Blvd., just north of Husky Stadium. To avoid bicycle traffic exiting south on Montlake Blvd., the area should be approached from the North.

Carpool
We encourage you to carpool to the starting point, RideshareOnline can help.

Just log on at www.rideshareonline.com and follow the easy instructions for a first time user to register. Once your registration is confirmed, select a bike ride from the event list. You can go back anytime and click on "Find Matches" to look for carpool partners from your area.

Driving Directions
From either direction on I-5, take the NE 45th St. exit (#169). Follow NE 45th through the University District down the Viaduct and past the golf range on your right. At Mary Gates Ave. take a right and go one block to Clark Rd. and take another right. Follow this straight to the E-1 parking lot. Once in the lot you will be directed to either the Drop Off Area or the Overnight Parking Area. There is NO parking charge for cars that are out of the lot by 9 am on Saturday.

Pre-Event Parking on Friday Night

Parking on Friday night is available at the NORTH end of the University of Washington E-1 Parking Lot. You will be required to purchase a parking pass in advance via the registration form or at packet pickup. Cost is $8.

Parking on Saturday & Sunday & Monday

Parking is available to participants in the University of Washington E-1 Parking Lot and must be paid for in advance. Parking passes will be sold in advance via your registration form and at packet pickup. Cost is $8 per day. All cars must be out of the lot by 5 pm on Monday.

One-Day Riders

Will be starting on SATURDAY. The one-day rider start line will be open from 4:45 a.m. to 5:15 a.m. EXCLUSIVELY for one-day riders; however, one-day riders may start at any time after 4:45 a.m.

Packet Pickup

Packets will be available at the start line from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Please allow plenty of time at the start line and listen for any last minute ride changes by the announcer.
