New Food Stop in Carnation - Camp Korey (old Nestle Farms locations)
In 2005 Tim and Donna Rose, who lost their teenage son Korey to cancer, had a vision of building a Hole in the Wall Gang camp here in Washington. Today, their vision is fast becoming a reality and soon Camp Korey at Carnation Farm will bring the magic of camp to thousands of children and families right here in the Northwest. In addition to summer camp programs, the facilities of Camp Korey will offer year-round programming including family camps, well sibling camps, bereavement camps, special conferences and education programs. Camp Korey will run two weeklong sessions this summer with the goal of running a full summer calendar in 2009. Check us out on the web at www.campkorey.org. You can raise funds for Camp Korey through sponsorship by participating in Team Hole in the Wall. Go to www.teamholeinthewall.org and click on "Camp Challenge" then "Join Now" Be sure to sign up specifically for Camp Korey. Thankyou!
