Getting to Expo

This year's event is held at Cruise Terminal 30 at 2431 East Marginal Way, Seattle. There are ample parking spaces within a 15-20 minute walk of the event, but please allow yourself 30 minutes to park and arrive at the show. Arriving by bus or bike is one of the best ways of attending. There is only one entrance to the Terminal at Gate 5, on East Marginal Way.

We suggest printing and bringing the handy walking/shuttle bus and directions map [PDF]. Access to East Marginal Way is limited via 1st Ave S due to the train track location.

Parking Options

Expo Free Shuttle and Parking MapThere are approx 400 spaces onsite at Expo (including one dozen ADA spots). All parking spots cost $5.00 per car (ADA is free and first come, first served). A convenient passenger drop off and pick up zone is available. There are also approximately 700 free spots within 1 - 1.5 miles of the complex. Print your own Expo parking, Shuttle bus & directions map [PDF] and bring it along to save time and hassle.

The two official offsite parking lots, charging $5 per vehicle, are located at

  1. Safeco Field Parking garage (just south of Safeco Field (1400 spots) and
  2. the U-Park park lot located at Royal Brougham and 1st Ave South.

Note: the closest thru-roads via 1st Ave S are located at 1) Horton & Hanford Streets (South) and 2) Royal Brougham/Atlantic Streets (North). You cannot cross over the tracks to Terminal 30 via Lander Street at SODO either by car or walking. Two-hour parking is not in effect on Sunday, so you may use this street parking at any time on Sunday.

Free Shuttle Bus

Free shuttle buses will depart from the parking lot and lots approx. every 15 minutes during show hours. These buses only pick up at 3 spots; print a map to find locations. Departing Expo, you may request a stop anywhere along the route, providing it is safe for the driver to pull over. The loop runs from Expo to Horton Street, N or 1st Ave S to Safeco Field/Royal Brougham before turning back S to Terminal 30.

Bike Parking

Bike Works will be provide secure and partially covered bike parking for a $2 suggested donation per bike. Cascade Bicycle Club will match $500 given to Bike works over the weekend. We have parking for 600 bikes. There is also plenty of unsecured parking on grounds. Bring your own lock.

Expo by Bike
