| Ride Description: |
| Join us for a nice 55 mile ~2500 feet ascent bike ride from Newport Hills to Black Diamond via Renton, Cedar River Trail and & Ravensdale. We will stop for a short (~20 minutes) lunch break in Black Diamond. We will ride back via Maple Valley, Cedar Grove Rd and SE May Valley Rd. I plan to ride with my wife on our tandem at a brisk pace (~18 mph on flat). Please be at the Newport Hills Park-and-Ride (exit #9 on I-405) by 9:45; we will roll promptly at 10:00. NOTE: there are no restroom facilities at the start. |
