Ride Description:
Join us for a nice 44 mile ~2700 feet ascent bike ride from Newport Hills to Maple Valey and back. We will ride via May Valley road, Cedar Grove, Lake Francis, Lower Dorre Don Way SE, Cedar River trail and stop for a short (~20 minutes) lunch break at Starbucks in Maple Valey. We will ride back via Witte Rd SE, Maxwell Rd, Cedar Grove Rd and May Valley Road. I plan to ride with my wife on our tandem at a fast brisk pace. If interested in joining us, please be at the Newport Hills Park-and-Ride (exit #9 on I-405) by 10:15; we will roll promptly at 10:30. NOTE: there are no restroom facilities at the start.
