Ride Description:
Kenmore Park & Ride is on NE Bothell Way, Hwy 522 in Kenmore. From I – 405 you can get on Bothell Way by taking the Bothell exit (23 or 23B) and turning left at Main St. From I -5 you can take NE 145th St, Hwy 523, exit 175, go east and then left on Bothell Way. Turn north off of Bothell Way on 73rd Ave NE and then right into the Park & Ride behind the Thrift Store. Unfortunately there is no bathroom. There is a Safeway 1 block west. The ride goes north then east to Cathcart and then down the valley to Everett. We cross the river and do a small hill into Snohomish and bigger hills to Three Lakes. Then it is south through Monroe and west on High Bridge Rd. We finish up on Paradise Lake Rd and over West Hill in Bothell. We will have 2 or more rest stops with 1 at the Safeway in Monroe at 58 miles. The goal is to return by 4:30. Note, last time I missed my goal by 1 hour. Sunset is at 4:25 PM. Bring lights. Regroups after ups and downs. The highest point is 607 feet.
