Ride Description:
Come join me for a ride from Renton to Alki in West Seattle. We start at Burnett Linear Park (502 Burnett Avenue South in Renton) and will be heading over to Bicentennial Park in Tukwila to meetup with another group. Then we will continue on our ride by following the Green River/Duwamish River Trail to South Park and on to Alki for coffee and pastry at Tully's. Please arrive early enough to ready your bike and sign the ride waiver. The pace of this ride is based on having no wind. If we have a headwind, the pace will be lower and it may be higher if we have a tailwind. Please keep this in mind when deciding to do this ride. DIRECTIONS TO START: From I-405 North: Take Exit 2A to Rainier Avenue South, Turn east on South 7th Street, Go straight through stop sign to Burnett Avenue South, The park is on the right. From I-405 South: Take Exit 2 to Rainier Avenue South, Turn east on South 7th Street, Go straight through stop sign to Burnett Avenue South, The park is on the right.
